Installation of the Cento 200 Unit at Líheň Studenec: An Effective Solution for Thermal Comfort and Cost Savings

This year, we launched the TEDOM Cento 200 cogeneration unit at the Líheň Studenec facility in Vysočina. Líheň Studenec specializes in the production of day-old chicks.
When they built a new complex in 2023, it was essential to ensure thermal comfort for the chicks, of which up to 5 million hatch here annually. Therefore, they took advantage of our offer to install cogeneration in what is known as the operational model. This means they do not pay for the supplied cogeneration unit; they only purchase electricity and heat from the cogeneration at lower prices than they would arrange on their own. The TEDOM Cento 200 cogeneration unit adjusts its output according to the current power consumption of the facility. The system is operated remotely with occasional maintenance. Thanks to this new solution, annual energy costs are reduced by up to 20 000 €.
